Why does Versa Lite persist I turning on "Driving Mode"? I have turned it off in Android and in Message+. But every hour or so Fitbit turns it on again, but my previous settings have not changed.

Hello @SubSailor48 thanks for bringing this to my attention, I'm happy to give you a hand with your Versa and the situation experiencing with the Driving mode. Welcome to our Community Forums too!

Seems odd that your device is requesting you to turn on Driving mode, this is certainly not a common situation. To better assist you, can you please provide more information and details about this situation? Which Adnroid device are you currently using and this message is shown on your Fitbit or the Fitbit app?

If you're referring to notifications, most Fitbit devices don’t receive notifications when you turn on the Do Not Disturb, Quiet hours, or Driving mode setting on your phone. Fitbit Versa receive notifications, but your device won’t alert you. Swipe down to see your notifications. If paired to an Android phone, your Fitbit watch or tracker can alert you to notifications at any time:

  1. From the Fitbit app dashboard, tap the account icon > your device image > Notifications
  2. In the Vibration Settings section, turn on the Always Vibrate option.

Looking forward to your reply, let me know if you have any additional questions.

What's happening is that the app isn't asking me to turn on driving mode, it's turning it on. I have it turned off in Messenger, and when Fitbit turns it on it sometimes appears on in Messenger, but sometimes it is still off in Messenger. I have no idea what is going on.

Thanks for your reply, I'm happy to continue assisting you today. My apologies for the delay in responding your post @SubSailor48.

I'd like to appreciate all the details that were provided in your post, this is definitely not a common situation. That said, to better assist you, can you please let me know which mobile device are you currently using with your Versa? Also, make sure that the Fitbit app is up to date, same for your Versa and mobile device.

I'll be here.
