My wife Nancy has been pressing the Exercise icon on her Versa 3, firmware 36.128.6.17 to select walk which used to start a timer for her walking session. However, now when she presses the Exercise Icon a moment later it goes back to showing the main icon menu instead of showing the list of activities (including walk) for her to select her activity. We have tried both the shutdown and hard reset, but that does not fix the issue. My versa 3, with the same firmware still works properly, showing the list of exercises timer to choose from. What can we do to fix this?

Hi @JohnAndNancy - when the watch OS becomes corrupt it will need a factory reset to correct it. However the factory reset is not without risk, it may fail or not be possible to set up again. If you do try from the Settings [if you can reach the option] leave the watch 5 minutes to complete before setting it up again.
It may be possible to fix some issues with just setting it up again, in the Fitbit App, Devices [connected to] page, Add more devices, select your watch and replace. It's worth trying this first. Removing the watch from the account and the Bluetooth entries from the phone and setting it up again might also help.
