Feedback about exercise buttons change

Since the update where the exercise buttons changed I have trouble with getting the button to work.     I hit “start walk”   I think it’s set but when I’m done with my walk and I look at my watch it’s on the home screen not tracking anything.    This is extremely annoying because it happens a lot when it didn’t happen at all until the update moved things around to “look better”  but they don’t work so please change it back.    If it’s not broke don’t fix it.
