I did the firmware update and over the last week, my versa battery life has diminished every day. I charged it last night to 100%, went to bed and woke up with a dead watch. Last sync was recorded at 12:54am. It will not reset, turn on, charge, or anything. It is completely black. Of course, I am one month out of warranty and customer service offered me 25% off my next device. I asked if that was good for Galaxy smartwatch because I'm not purchasing another Fitbit! I cannot afford to buy $150 watch every year! This is crap. I am extremely disappointed in Fitbit. They have lost a customer.

Google "Fitbit Better Business Bureau" and check out all of the complaints. I had the same issue after the firmware update.

The last update has caused this issue with mine as well. I would have connectivity issues occasionally but this last one has caused quite a mess. I know the community has had a lot of complaints. You would think that they would be fixing this loophole. I can't wear mine. I can charge and it will keep charge but won't keep time or sync to my phone. I use it for other apps like our work app Virgin Pulse that with my steps and my sleep track helps me earn actual money. I am losing out on all of it. I'm hoping with new update at some point it will help.

DON'T DOWNLOAD IT!!!! If you watch is over 12 months then when the update bricks it you are out of luck due to warranty being expired. Mine just hit 13/14 months and I'm pretty sure this update completely broke it.
