Fit bit versa has randomly stopped working

I recently acquired a Fitbit versa and it was working fine and then the screen cut out and turned black. I thought it may have ran out of charge so I placed it in the charger and the screen is still black. I check the app and it says it is fully charged but when I try to sync it it says it is in an unknown location.

Hello @JakeWilliams

Head to pg. 68 below and try a restart, if that still doesn't help, try a factory reset.

Thank you for the help but my versa will not turn on at all, I cannot
factory reset it because the screen is black when I try to turn it on. It
is not out of charge because it says so on the app.
