FitBit Charging and Sync Issues

I left a comment here and earlier on Face Book re my Versa not syncing or charging correctly. Fitbit UK & Ireland asked me to get in touch, which I did. I was optimistic but it has not lasted long. I had already read their notes on what to do if these issues arose and it was still not working as it should be, so I rang the 'helpdesk'. They told me to read their notes. I gave up and soldiered. on. Sometimes it syncs and sometimes it doesn't. Sometimes it will charge and sometimes it won't. There is an issue re the connectors on the charger - that seems clear to me from reading other comments on the community page. So I was really hoping for a sensible response. Their advice? Read the notes from the link they sent.!! I am not happy at all. I'm trying to collate some information here so if you have had a Versa and have had problems, could you please let me know because I want to look into this further.

Dear, have bought my Versa almost one year ago. In that time had 3 new different perfctly working android phones and I was never able to have a proper connextion, on paper a very nice smart watch but in reality there is something seriously wrong at the foundation.

I totally agree. Their 'customer service' just will not take ownership of the problems
