Fitbit App 'Finds' Versa, but has "Bluetooth Issues"

I've had my Versa for about 7 months and other than some volume control issues everything has gone down without a hitch; however, that changed recently.

I accidentally left my Versa at a friends house in a neighbouring town and wasn't able to retrieve it for a month, the next time I was visiting. My fitbit died, obviously, and when I got it back, it lit up to the start-up screen asking me to install the fitbit app (which I already had on my phone). When I looked in the app, my Versa wasn't set up anymore. I thought, no problem, I'll just do it again, but now it's stuck on that screen!

It's fully charged, I left it on the charger for a full day before trying and it keeps 'finding' my Versa before a message pops up citing "Bluetooth Issues" and tells me to restart my bluetooth.

Let me walk you through the steps:

1) Set Up a Device

2) Select Versa

3) Agree to Terms

4) Put Versa in the Charger

5) "Searching for Versa..."

After this step I get one of three endings...

7a) FOUND! ---> Bluetooth Issues (Screen pops up telling me to restart bluetooth or automatically try again)

7b) Is your Versa On? (with text telling me how to charge it)

7c) Not Working? (Make sure Versa is charged and turn on... etc.)

Please Help!

@Eblow it seems like it factory reset itself. Delete versa from your phone Bluetooth settings (forget), then reboot the phone and Versa, place versa in a charging dock, open Fitbit app and tap set up a device. Choose Versa and if you still have Versa linked with your account, tap replace. Follow the instructions on the screen.
