Yesterday, my Fitbit Versa worked fine with my phone. When I got home, I turned off the Versa to save the battery. Later last night, the Fitbit app started crashing. I would keep getting notifications that the app has stopped working. Today, its the same thing. The app constantly crashes when syncing with the watch. It hasn't successfully worked all day so far. I did not update the app or the phone yesterday so what changed/happened? Both the watch and the phone were updated last week and worked for many days. How can I fix this?

And yes, I have already shutdown and restarted the phone. I have already force closed the Fitbit app many times. I have restarted the watch, which doesn't really matter as the app crashes with or without it turned on anyway. This is an app issue.

My fitbit apps started crashing to randomly for no reason yesterday
restarted watch and phone.. i think it was another bad update from the apps
