I've tried to restart, it's 100% charged and all it does is flash the icon on a black screen

Thanks for bringing this to our attention and for trying our restart process before to posting. To fix this uncommon situation, please try our factory reset following the next steps:
Take in consideration that a factory reset deletes any stored data, which includes all data that hasn't synced to your Fitbit account and your applications, alarms, etc.
