Fitbit Versa 2 Screen display has disappeared

My Fitbit Versa 2 was working fine this morning. Took it off to take a shower and when I went to put it back on, the display has disappeared. No clock face, nothing. The screen isn't black- it's still on. Just all I see is "static" with a white line at the top. It still syncs with the app for now but nothing is appearing on the display other than white or gray "flashes".

Try a Restart and do it several times if necessary.

Appreciate that but tried that numerous times- can't even see the Fitbit icon. My latest try has the screen showing black and occasionally it comes on and flashes the gray and white "static" with the white line on top.
