Fitbit Versa 2 and spotify

I recently bought the Versa 2. I bought it over the lite due to the Fitbit pay and the music storage. I've come to find out that fit bit doesn't accept either banks i'm at. oh well not the end of the world but I've looked it up and seen comments from 2018, but can you add music from Spotify to the versa yet? This is the main reason i bought the full version and i may even just return it and switch.

I'm afraid the Spotify app for the Versa 2 (and the newly announced Versa 3) is limited to controlling Spotify music playing on your connected phone - it doesn't support offline Spotify i.e. you can't download music from Spotify to your Fitbit.
