I just started using the walking part of the exercise app and am unclear what the pace means.  Surely I am not taking strides of 29'!  Can someone explain this part to me?

How about 29 minutes per mile?

It uses what look like feet and inch symbols for minutes and seconds.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

It might be, but I can do a mile in about 20 minutes, I think.  Maybe I'm off on that.  I am pretty slow!

Hi@vsweet as long as the distance the tracker has measured, Fitbit says otherwise to your pace.

Pace is nothing more than a measurement of how long it takes you to cover a defined distance. ... Instead of measuring how many miles per hour you're moving, pace is expressed in minutes per mile.
