After having problems with the Fitbit Versa i bought the Fitbit Versa 2 only to have the same problems with registering and syncing. I do not get notifications on steps needed for the hour, my sleep goals do not register, nothing works unless my Fitbit is shutdown and or reset then it works for "1 day". After that it i have the same problem over and over again. I have uninstalled the app a number of times but nothing seems to work. I have returned previous Versa Fitbits back to where they have been bought from and exchanged them but clearly it is not the product. It is the Fitbit app!

@SunsetRunner, I'm sorry for the late response. However, let me welcome you to our Fitbit forums. I'm sorry to hear that your Versa 2 doesn't sync your data properly. By the way, thank you for trying to get this issue resolved before contacting our forums.

I was able to get in touch with our Support team and was told that they assisted you via email and sent some instructions.

Sending emails to Fitbit Support is a total waste of time. I sent them photos twice on 2 different occasions of what is happening with my Fitbit Versa 2 and all they say is to look through the Fitbit help articles. ( as if I didn't already do that to try and fix the issues that I am having myself ) Then they tell me to edit my sleep ( clearly the Fitbit app is not working if I have to log my sleep myself ) #2 issue - My Fitbit Versa 2 syncs and records daily activity when it wants to which is usually after I have re-set my Fitbit. I shouldn't have to re-set it every second day just for my Fitbit versa 2 to give the accurate readings and do what the app is suppose to do. Been with Fitbit over 5 years now maybe it is time to give the Fitbit Versa 2 the flick and move onto another fitness tracker. One that will do what it is suppose to.

I have a Galaxy S10 and my Versa 2 will only Sync if I turn it off and back on. I've had it since Christmas and it work for a few days. Then up until yesterday I had to restart it a few times a day but it auto synced most of the time. Now it does not auto sync at all.The app will "look for device" but not find it even when the 2 for right beside each other.

I took my Fitbit Versa 2 back to where I bought it from and paid the extra for a Garmin. Well worth it if you can afford to upgrade 🙂

I’m having the same problem. I updated my iPad and now I need to shutdown my Fitbit every day to get the stats on my iPad. Any advice?
