After an update a couple of months ago I have lost letters off the screen so I can't read messages and notifications. I hoped next update would fix it, but no.
I have restarted many times, changed the clock face and factory reset all to no avail. Now the band has fallen off!
It is less than 12 months old (I have 4 days left), should I just return it?

To keep your complaints within your device's warranty period, I'd suggest contacting Fitbit support immediately. The team most likely will do some checks on your device with your help and then decide what can be done next.
