Agh ! My beloved fitbit versa 3 is irreparably broken. 

I would love to purchase another one and there are some online. However some sites advise not to as google plans to discontinue all the fits eventually. I have looked at google and Samsung alternatives but none are same spec as my versa 3 price wise. Any thoughts ? Thankyou : )

I wouldn't believe those sites at all, since Google hasn't made any announcements in regards to what they plan to release.  Unless an official statement comes out, I wouldn't believe it.

That said, have you looked at the Versa 4?
