Fitbit Versa 3 won't reboot

I'm having a problem with my Fitbit Versa 3.  I tried to reboot it this evening because of a problem with its display. It was showing the time but when I swiped down, instead of showing my activity data the screen was black.  Strangely, if I swiped left, up or right, the display worked OK.  So I swiped right and shut the watch down using Settings.  However, it won't reboot,  When I try and hold in the side button for 10 seconds, I can feel a vibration but the Fitbit Logo doesn't appear.  Further, if I just hold the watch in my hand, without pressing the side button, I can feel it is making a regular vibration every 4 our 5 seconds.  The watch was bought November 2022.

Hi @padgreen59 - your watch may be suffering from a fault or not have enough charge.

Have you tried charging it for 2 hours. That may restart it. Make sure it doesn't get hot while charging as that is dangerous, and if so stop using it immediately.

If it still hasn't started hold the button for a full 10 seconds and see.

Thanks for the reply. The watch is broken. I've tried charging it, makes no difference.  Indeed after charging, if I hold the watch, I can feel it making a regular vibration every 4 or 5 seconds, and even when not holding it, that vibration is audible.  Given that I also found out that Google isn't going to make Versa watches anymore, I'm going to cut my loses and buy an Apple Watch. My Versa 3 lasted just over 2 years and before that I had a Versa Lite and that only lasted just over two years, which isn't particularly impressive.
