Fitbit Versa Firmware Update

Hi everyone! So, my Fitbit Versa recently updated the firmware. To turn on my Fitbit, I used to be able to press the left button only and it'll turn on. However, after the update, I now have to press all three buttons just to get it turned on. I have contacted customer support about this issue and I get the impression they do not know what is going on with the Fitbit Versa now having to be turned on using all three buttons. Looking at the responses from Fitbit employees on the threads here, it looks like they cannot give a straight answer. I even did a factory reset and it did not fix the problem. I STILL have to turn on my Fitbit Versa using all three buttons instead of just the one left button like in the past. Are Fitbit Versa users doomed to having to now turn our devices on using all three buttons?

Yes, same here. Since the last firmware update, the versa doesn't completely shut down anymore.  The screen goes blank but it still uses battery and can't be turned on with just the left button (as it isn't actually turned off).  Holding the left and bottom right buttons reboots it.  I assume Fitbit are working on a fix.

I have the original Versa. I just received an email from Fitbit customer support that since my Versa is out of warranty (my Versa is only a year old), I have to buy a new Fitbit even though they stated the problem is a manufacturer defect. They gave me a discount code, but I feel like if I buy another one, the same situation will happen in a year where the firmware update will crash it, which will result in having to buy a new one. This is a scam the company is doing to get us to buy the updated version of the Versa.
