Fitbit Versa Lite Watch not syncing workout data to Strava

I have recently purchased a Fitbit Versa Lite and have linked my Fitbit account to my Strava account and vice versa.

 

I have checked all the permissions and watched every Youtube video and yet after every workout the data syncs to my Fitbit account but not the Strava account.

 

I have tried altering the settings via the app and via the internet on a computer but nothing has helped.

 

I have an Android Samsung Galaxy S7 phone. Not sure if this is relevant but don't want to leave any information out.

 

Can anybody please help with this?

By workout @Dhawthorne what type of workout are we talking about?

Only exercises that are recorded with GPS will be sent to Strava.
