Hello. I am interested in getting a Versa Lite, however I am allergic to metal. I am wondering what material is on the watch face back. Most watches and fitness monitors have a metal back. I'm hoping this one is plastic.

Hello! Can you tell me what the Bluetooth range is for this watch? I'm trying to find something I can wear while I teach a dance class to track my heart rate AND control my music, but my phone will be 35-55 feet away from me.

The Fitbit Versa Lite Edition and Versa classic band is made of a flexible, durable material similar to that used in many sports watches, and includes an aluminium watch case and buckle. The woven band is made from a comfortable polyester and includes an aluminium watch case and buckle.

Edit: @KristenDances  Many things can determine how close your phone needs to be for the bluetooth to connect.  Typically it is about 20-30 ft, but walls, type of materials, etc can all effect that. Your heart rate will track no matter what.

Welcome to the Fitbit Community @littlenyama and @KristenDances!  As my friend @Slatyer has shared with you, the range to setup or sync your tracker is around 20 to 25 ft from the Bluetooth device (either a computer or phone). I suggest you check that your phone is compatible to do the setup and sync.

On the other hand, the housing and buckle on Versa Lite Edition are made of anodized aluminum. While anodized aluminum can contain traces of nickel, which can cause an allergic reaction in someone with nickel sensitivity, the amount of nickel in all Fitbit products meets the European Union's stringent Nickel Directive. 

The Versa Lite Edition classic wristband is made of a flexible, durable elastomer material similar to that used in many sports watches.
