I had recently just received my Fitbit Versa REPLACEMENT for my old one who also had a malfunction. Right as soon as I finished the setup, the screen started taking me to different apps and taking me to my notifications without my intentions or help. This is really starting to annoy me as this is my REPLACEMENT for my old, malfunctioned Versa, and now, my REPLACEMENT has a malfunction out of the box...

Try a Restart and do it several times if necessary.
