Fitbit Versa and Iphone

what a nightmare trying to sync the Fitbit Versa with the IPhone 8 plus. It will not work know matter what the horrid customer service tell you to try. I'm so done with Fitbit and sending it back. I'm staying with Apple from now on. Horrid device, worst customer service ever #DONE

Hi, according to this site: https://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/2315/?q=compatible&l=en_US&fs=Search&pn=1 , your iPhone 8 Plus is supported by Fitbit, so there must be something wrong on an other level. Please let me know what's exactly going wrong. IMHO, it's not Fitbit, but something else.

@Ziggy1980 Perhaps you could try this:

 

  1. Unpair (remove) Versa from your phone's bluetooth settings
  2. Uninstall the Fitbit mobile app
  3. Reboot your phone and install Fitbit mobile app. Do not pair in phone bluetooth settings
  4. Reboot your Versa by pressing and holding the left and bottom right buttons until Fitbit logo flashes
  5. Login to Fitbit mobile app
  6. Grant all permissions incl pairing and sync
  7. Make sure Fitbit Notifications are enabled in your phone Settings. If they are switch them off, sync, switch them back ON, and sync again.
