Fitbit Versa battery drains fast

My Fitbit Versa battery drains fast. I traveled and stayed a month without my Fitbit. By the time I came back it has gone blank. Since then, it does not charge nor turn on. I've cleaned the pins on the device and cable, it still won't power on or charge. Mine is not quite a year yet.

Leaving the battery dead for this long may have caused some damage to the battery.

My Versa was not charged for about 2 months. I putted it on the chager, but only the logo lights on.

What can I do to get working?

Thanks for your reply. So what's the way forward if the battery is damaged.
This Fitbit cost me 156 euros, and I barely used it for 6 months.
