Fitbit Versa + constant connection issues

I recently purchased a Fitbit Versa.

From the minute i tried installing it to my phone, there were problems and it kept downloading very quickly to 60 - 70% then failing at 100%.

Now that it has been installed fine, when i try to connect wifi to my Versa via my phone it always forget the password which means i have to re-enter it which is a headache.

Today i installed the desktop app in order to transfer some music to my Versa playlist, and after 3 - 5 minutes of trying to download a song onto the versa, it says "connection failed".

I am very frustrated and need help.

Not sure if it is the versa or my wifi connection.

I also purchased a Charge 3, which i was going to return after learning that the Versa can store music thus allowing me to run outside with just one device. Might end up returning the Versa...

@laila_95 First of all, Charge 3 and Versa are not meant to be under one Fitbit account according to Fitbit themselves. So, you will not be able to set them up and use all the features. At least not with the current version of the Fitbit mobile app. Second of all, there are several things to remember when transferring music:

  • you need to have a strong wifi signal - place your Versa near the router
  • make sure your Versa is in the charging dock
  • all your songs have to be DRM-free
  • all your songs have to be in the compatible format
  • sometimes bluetooth interferes in the proces - try turning off bluetooth, rebooting your computer and Versa, and trying again.
