Does anyone Fitbit Versa does this, off and on automatically during the workouts? It automatically turns off and restart automatically during the workout or swimming. It is very frustrated.

I bought a Versa 2 for my daughter through Amazon in November. She complained of the same thing. Bought her an Apple watch instead, and no problems at all.

I finally got it back from her this past weekend (she is in college) and set it up for myself. Same thing happening to me, after a factory reset and other trouble shooting I found online. Fitbit is sending me a replacement watchface. I had to push the CS rep on the phone a bit for it, but I knew that they would send a replacement from reading information online.

Even if you purchased your fitbit at Amazon, do a live chat and they will replace it as well or accept a return, even if it is outside the 60 day window. It seems like these things die well within that window, unfortunately.

This happens to me multiple times daily and it’s so discouraging man. I am about to get rid of it and get an Apple Watch

I'm going on a week with Amazon's replacement, and it's working great. I hope that means the issues are resolved. I really do like this, when it works lol.

BTW Fitbit will only send you the watch unit itself as a replacement, not the charger or band.

Yes but that’s all you need unless the band or charger is broken, in which case you can call them about that too. In my case, they were out of stock on the Versa I had so I got the Versa 2 with charger as a replacement.

Are you still getting the problems with your new versa?

My new one is working fine so far, but it only took 6 months for the original one to break down so I'm not holding my breath.

I just got it recently, but They gave me the Versa 2 as a replacement... so I’m hopeful I won’t experience any issues moving forward.

The warranty ended a few months ago. So there’s nothing they can do. They did offer a 25% discount on a new device, but why would I buy another one of their products if I know how quickly they go bad? Lol. I’ll get a different type of watch. Fitbit sucks.

I'm having the same issue with my Versa constantly restarting. I reached out to Fitbit and because my watch is slightly over one year old, they told me to just buy a new watch. I agree with the last post - if I know their products are only good for a year, why would I buy another one?  No thanks!

It seems like this is a fairly recent issue and I have a hard time believing it's not a problem with something like a firmware update; this was never previously a problem, and now it seems to be affecting new and older watches alike.

Yup. That’s exactly what happened to me. It’s definitely an issue their software of something and they have no intention of resolving it for users with device older than 1 year.

This was the first time in many years that I ever had any issue with Fitbit. It’s just a fluke on this model. I had the Fitbit One, the Charge 2 and now the Versa 2. Hopefully the Versa 2 will not flaw like the first Versa did. So far it’s great.

I had the Ultra (precursor to the One), the Charge, and the Versa. All 3
were discontinued and replaced with the "2" version (or the One in the case
of the Ultra). I guess I have terrible luck and buy too soon.

Mine resets itself automatically even when I don’t use the exercise app. Sounds like they need an update.
