Last night around 4pm, my fitbit versa turned off as I was setting the timer. It didn't turn back on at all. The percentage of battery was only at 60 percent when it cut off. When I arrived home, my husband started to the the neccessary checks to see what could be the potential problem. He realized that there was a firmware update for my versa. He stated let's start there. Took a hour to update and nothing. It started to say on screen to download the fitbit app and let's get started. Since last night, I tried to update the firmware 2 additional times and nothing happens. It keeps restarting itself on and off. I deleted the account for my versa in the app to reinstall the versa and still nothing. I even uninstalled the fitbit app and redownload it and still nothing. The watch keeps saying download fitbit app to get started. I'm frustrated. My husband ended up ordering the fitbit versa 2 so I won't be without a watch but is there anyway to fix this one that I have.

I thing Fitbit is really getting worse. I think they are struggling by putting out tech that does not work properly and ignoring their customer base bye not responding and admitting they are clueless. This is my third Fitbit product and likely my last.

Hi @Hcameron
I'm sorry to hear you are having an issue with your Versa. Please try restarting your Versa by holding down the button for 10+ seconds until the screen goes dark and the Fitbit logo appears. You also may need to put your Versa on the charger for a few minutes and then try restarting it again. Fingers crossed that fixes the issue for you.
