Fitbit acting crazy

My Versa 2 is about to die, I think. Anyone else have this going on? Any time I get a text notification, or even try to look at the info on my Fitbit, this is what I get. It just runs through a series of craziness for a few seconds, then the screen goes black.

Impressive photo!

Are you able to shutdown the watch and then restart it?

If it continues, try changing the clock face to a Fitbit one, just in case it has a problem.

If it persists and under warranty, exchange it at the shop in preference to getting a replacement from Fitbit directly which is also possible.

You can contact Fitbit Support directly. They may be able to help you in case it doesn't need replacing.

I’ve tried shutting it down & restarting it. It didn’t help. 😢

It’s not under warranty anymore either, so I guess I’m in the hunt for a new fitness tracker! Lol

Could be!

However If its working and you use it when there are no notifications and its fine like that, then that's annoying because trying a factory reset is risky.

But if you want to risk it, try a factory reset from the Settings => About menu, if you can get there?

Once the screen goes off wait a few minutes before doing anything - if it doesn't restart by itself put it on charge.

You will need to remove the bluetooth entries from your phone and click on + Set up a Device in the Fitbit App to install it again.

Make sure its charging and near a good wifi signal and there are no other Bluetooth devices on other than your phone, as it should load the latest firmware over wifi, like it did when you got it.

That started with mine as well just a few hours ago.  Started with a dim screen so I adjusted it to "normal" & within a few hours the flashing/flickering screen started.

Did a restart, 3 times now, and changed the clock face twice with no improvement.  HELP!!!

I hate that! I can’t get mine to behave at all, no matter what I do. My screen had also gone dim before the craziness started too

Mine started doing the same thing yesterday, I have tried restarting it and changing the clock face so far nothing is working! Luckily mine is still under warranty so I called fot bit and they are sending me a new one, no suggestions from them to even try to fix this one.

Wow. No suggestions from them. That kind of sucks. I’m glad you’re getting a new one!
