Just got my first fitbit versa 2 watch. And for the past one hr, I've been trying to set up the watch but in vain. First, the watch keeps showing "To start, download the app". The watch itself is not responsive not matter how many times I tap on the screen. So i cannot access any menu/setting on the watch.
Second, the app cannot find the watch. Take note that the watch is on charging all the while.
Finally I gave up and asked for Amazon return. But i still hope that the watch itself is damaged and not due to "weak" interface design. Anyone have any idea what's going on?

Hi @royzo78 what phone are you using? It could be an unsupported phone, or it might be a defective Fitbit.
