The fitbit app for my phone keeps crashing. I keep getting the same notification to restart my phone for tracker notifications but after restarting the phone the app still crashes. It loads to the main display then immediately becomes unresponsive and crashes.
I just updated the app this morning .

Miy app does the same thing since the last update. It will sync steps in the background sometimes. When I open the app I see the intro screen with the steps, it crashes within a few seconds then I get a popup asking to retart the Fitbit app or send feedback. Notifications are rare, yesterday I got one on the Versa out of 30 events.
Everything worked perfectly last week. Is there a way to undo an update?

Mine was doing it yesterday after update to 2.74. What worked for me and at least one other person:
Uninstall app.
Go to Play Store, find app. It may not really be uninstalled, depending on your Android version. If there are buttons saying "Activate" and "Uninstall" or similar, press the "Uninstall" one to really uninstall it.
Reboot phone.
Go to Play Store and reinstall app.

I think that did it. I uninstalled then reinstalled and the app at least is working now. Now I just gotta get the **ahem** fitbit to sync but that's a different for a different day lol.

Reinstalling finally worked for me too. No amount of Force Stop or reboots fixed the problem. Seems like extreme measures to fix something that was not broken until the last update.
