Fitbit integration with Eufy Security

Hi all, I'm wondering if anyone has any experience of linking Fitbit (Versa 3) with Eufy cameras or doorbell to receive notifications? Not sure if it's even possible...

Hi @DavDavDav currently the only option we have is to go to notifications, All Apps, and add the camera app

HI @DavDavDav  - as long as the phone apps produce notifications on the phone and are selected in the Fitbit App App notifications as @Rich_Laue  says, the notifications will be relayed to the watch.

However if you look in the forums there have been issues recently with the Ring app notifications in some configurations/versions.

So I've figured out how to get some notifications but only text ones. 

I've read elsewhere online that folk with wear os smart watches or Apple Watches will display a thumbnail image of the camera/doorbell notification.

I'm assuming that this feature is not available on Fitbit devices unless anyone can tell me otherwise?? 🙏

True, you won't get a photo on The tracker, at best you may get a notification that your phone received a notification from the app. Then again maybe nothing. I don't know if the camera app sends any text with its notification. 

If someone sends me a text with a picture, all I see on the watch is their name under the name of the app

I'm pretty sure that all the new security systems have an option to connect with a phone. Well, I bought a security system from ajax a while ago, and I can tell you that it's really convenient to get all the photos on my phone instantly through the app. That's why I think it's better to get a system like that.

Good news you can. 

Open up your fitbit app 

On the top right you will see how much battery power you have remaining Click on the battery 

Next click notifications 

App Notifications 

Scroll down to eufy security and tick it 

Then exit the app.
