Fitbit logging steps not taken.

I was wondering if there is any way of getting more accurate readings on my fitbit versa lite.

It it saying I have done 33 steps today but I haven't moved off the sofa (it's just past midnight). I bought the versa lite to track my steps as its easier then tracking using phone, I feel I may have made a mistake buying this device.

How can I stop it from logging steps I haven't taken?

Hi @SunsetRunner  I think your expectations of a wrist worn tracker might be unrealistic. Wrist worn trackers record steps by noting your arm movements, so, yes, there are some 'extra' steps recorded. In a days activities 33 steps is not significant, so I think you are worrying unecessarily.
