My Fitbit Versa 2 has stopped synching properly with the app on my iphone and no longer records my exercise days. Help!

I moved your post from the fitbit.com dashboard forum, which is for the retired on-line dashboard to the Versa product help forum.
I believe there is currently a problem on the Fitbit side. There have multiple users reporting issues with seeing their exercise data in the Fitbit app. I have also experienced problems with my exercise data in the Fitbit app.
I happened to check the Fitbit Status Dashboard website and saw there's been a Web API service disruption that began around the beginning of September. Even though the service disruption information states data discrepancies or syncing issues between 3P apps and Fitbit, the timing of when the service disruption started is about the same time that many of us started seeing issues with our exercise data in the Fitbit app. The current status is still showing the Web API issue as of today, 09 Sep 2024.
Considering the issue has been on-going for about a week, the fix is likely not an easy one. Hopefully, it won't be too much longer before it's fixed and we see all our exercise data again.
For now, I don't think there's any troubleshooting you can do to fix the problem.

I've been having a very similar problem on Android with Exercise days since mid last week - in the app I can't log any exercise manually, doesn't sync with the Versa 2 after recording exercise on it, but it's only the Exercise Days - everything else syncs fine (heart rate, sleep, distance, steps etc). I tried everything suggested in the boards to re-sync and nothing works, now since I uninstalled and re-installed fit bit app, all I get is some grey boxes where my exercise Days should be as if it's updating. Hopefully a fix will come soon.

Oh phew. Me too. The last day it synced exercise normally was this Monday. Yesterday it didn't show anything so I unistalled and reinstalled and now it's just greyed out shapes trying to sync presumably. My watch says I've done 3 out of 5 days however no basic stats are showing on my watch either whereas it usually tells you.
