Fitbit not syncing

I have the charger plugged into my Macbook pro via usb.  I placed the Versa into the charger.  I go to the website for Fitbit and see my stats, settings, etc.  There is no where that I can click on to Sync.   There is no one at Fitbit I can ask.  Ready to toss this and go back to my Timex.   This one is 12 minutes off and the only help subjects is changing the time zone - which is not going to do anything for 12 minutes.

Hi, if I understand you well, you want to sync your Versa with your PC/Laptop, is this right? The Versa only syncs with your PC or phone via BT or WiFi. So, do the following:

1. On your PC open settings and press devices and enable BT.

2. On your Versa, go to settings, BT and set it to pairing

3. Go back to you PC and press within BT, add another BT device and your Laptop will start searching for the Versa. Once found, you will find the Versa back in the list of BT devices.

Now you should be able to sync your Versa with your  Macbook. Good luck!

If you don't have a mobile and want to sync your tracker to the bluetooth on your mac (doesn't have to be tethered) you will need fitbit connect for mac from here. Scroll all the way to the bottom and click the big pink button to indicate you are syncing to a mac.

more detail on "force sync's" for after you open the dmg, download, and install fitbitconnect:

Just got my Versa today, somehow lost my Charge 3 which I really liked, but can't find it.  So, I have been trying to get it set up.  I have it doing the initial download, said it would take about 30 minutes.  It's been downloading now, for at least 2 hours and it's at 16%. Any suggestions?

The initial update on the tracker OS is pretty substantial, hang in there you probably didn't set up the wifi connection for download and it is doing bluetooth via you mobile. Takes a while; watch the green block progress from left to right to get a feel for where you are at...
