Fitbit versa white screen

My versa screen has gone white and bo longer works. I bought it in september and can't figure out how to fix it. I have tried troubleshooting and nothing has worked.

Did you do a Restart and do it several times if necessary?

I have used the reset process successfully, but it keeps recurring. Specifically I have reset it 3 times over the last 48 hours. It was not doing this for the first week or 2 I had the device. Was there an update? 

Is my device defective?

The reset works, but I should not need to do this on a daily basis.
