I plugged in my watch to charge with an off brand charger that I’ve used before and now my watch won’t sync with the app or update?? Someone please help??!!?!??

The watch is charged and on. It keeps telling me to download the Fitbit app to finish set up. I deleted the app, redownloaded it, tried to do update with Bluetooth and WiFi and it downloads but the watch stays on the start up screen

My wife's did that. I ended up just shutting hers down completely and started the install all over again and it finally updated. Pain in the butt but it worked. Best wishes.
