Floors climbed vs “Elevation Gained” now wrong

Per supervisor of Fitbit, they have changed how this is tracked.  For last 1 1/2 years my Fitbit Blaze model gave logical feedback that I believed.  My replacement Versa 2 is entirely different.  Per supervisor at Fitbit, their new models track this different then earlier models.  I wanted to exchange my brand new Versa 2 for another that would track how the Blaze use to.   No option at all because Fitbit changed tracking calculations.  Waiting for someone above supervisor of customer service to show they care.   How is it there aren’t lots of irate customers?

Hi Dave,

I have a Sensa but I notice that as of late, the Elevation gain on my hikes is wrong.   It is WAY overstated (incorrectly)  - I wonder if the latest SW update broke it.   I have not found anybody reporting this issue yet?

My new Fitbit Versa 2 also inflates my “Elevation Gain” and really deflated
“Floors Climbed” vs. the Fitbit Blaze I used for 1 1/2 years until it just
died. --
