Got new Versa for my birthday. App installed on my Samsung Edge 7 and connects to Versa via bluetooth and snyc. I can not get the Versa to get beyond displaying FitBit logo. Push all the buttons. Sometimes at same time. nothing. All I get are the Blue crazy dot colors with scrolling world languages on bottom. In the app I have tried to update software and seems to connect to Versa but no change for over an hour. What gives? Mean to tell me it won't even tell the time on the display if it doesn't talk to my phone app. WTF? Very frustrated. Has anyone had problems setting up their Versa for first time?

Did you add/ set up a device? That’s what you need to do.

Download the fitbit app to your phone and open it... select add device and follow instructions

Phone has been updating Versa for over 6 hours! is this normal? and while its updating the Versa face shows a blueband spanning across it.

all set up. Phone syncs with watch in background but can't see dang thing on the screen other than the white logo. Updating from app to watch is taking hours.

First update/ contact app <-> Versa takes about 30 min..
