Getting a replacement with a Pebble?

Turn on my Versa this morning to find the screen had vertical lines throughout, faded out quickly and the battery died within hours. I contact CS chat and went through reset, etc and they are replacing it with a Pebble?  OK, they said it was the same thing.  Help?

Pebble is just what they call the electronic part alone. Means you're getting a Versa without the band.

I just got off the phone and had the same thing happen and they're sending me a pebble replacement to I thought wait mine was lilac! But at least they're making a good resolution I have been stressing about mine now for the last three days and I've got nothing but the Fitbit logo on my Fitbit and it keeps telling me with a big red x data not sent so the question is do they want us to return the old Fitbit?

Hi, from what I've seen, if they want your current one back, the replacement would be pending them receiving the current one. If they are moving forward with a replacement, I'd just wait it out. Most likely you'd very well know if they wanted the current one back.

I didn't have to send mine back. Don't know how they decide this. Have seen on the forums where others have had to send the old back, first.

I'm here for the exact same reason. I'm disappointed that they die so fast. This may be my last one.

I'm ok with this replacement my question is will I still have an issue when I need to update my versa? That is he reason I'm getting a replacement

They have apparently updated the issue on the new pebble so they said there shouldn't be. But if there is they told me to just call back and they will discuss the next option.
