I’m a trying to set up a versa 2 for a first time Fitbit user. He has a gmail account & when we put that in it looks for parental gmail. Once the parents email is put in it won’t go any further. Is there a way we can get around this?

At the beginning you seem to have skipped over an important detail, such as perhaps this person being under 13.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

My mistake.  I assumed it found he was under 13 from Fitbit birthdate, or maybe Google account birthdate, so needed to be set up in Fitbit family account.  With that not being the case, I have no idea why it would ask for a parental gmail.  Maybe check gmail age; if just set some age haphazardously, thinking it didn't matter, and now Fitbit is checking has to be over 13.  That's all I could imagine.  Otherwise, I have no idea.  Sorry.
