HR not working accurately

I had issues with the HR on my Versa Lite so switched over to the Charge 4 and still having the same issues. The HR will jump up to peak when I’m sitting still. It’s all over the place, up and down and this messes up my active zone minutes. Anyone else having this issue? I’m afraid I’m just going to have to give up on Fitbit.

Thank you for the details shared, I totally understand how you are feeling and I am here to help. Our heart-rate tracking technology, known as PurePulse, is specially designed to give you a more complete picture of your health and fitness. As with all heart-rate tracking technology, accuracy is affected by personal physiology, location of wear, and type of movement. I recommend trying the following:

 

  • Switch HR setting to off (On your device, open the Settings app > Heart Rate > tap to turn the setting Off) and sync.
  • Restart the watch: How do I restart my Fitbit device?
  • Switch HR setting to Auto and sync.
