Having issues pairing my Versa

Has anyone been able to pair a Versa with one of the older model galaxy's, particularly the Galaxy S5? I have tried everything, Fitbit support replaced my Versa, still would not pair.

 

My Versa will pair with the Charge 2 fine, in about 30 seconds. Took it to Best Buy to the Geek Squad, and they could not pair it with a Versa, but a returned Charge 2 paired great. Have done factory resets on phone, removed all apps, and reinstalled, worked with the Fitbit support team for a month.

 

Love the watch, just want to pair it with a phone to be able to use the features. My Versa does pair fine with iPad and apple phones.

 

Any help would be appreciated.

I would like to know if you keep having issues pairing your Versa? If you still having issues, I recommend taking a look at the help article How do I set up my Fitbit device? and follow the instructions provided there.

If the issue is not with the setup process, please be more specific about what you are experiencing.

I have been working with the fitbit support team since I received my fitbit, and replacement fitbit that they sent. Please refer to case # 24836966. I still have an e-mail from the team dated 5-21-2018 I have not done the steps on yet, but am going to. The only problem is, I can not count how many times I have gone through the same steps. MY galaxy S5 did synch with 2 different fitbit charge 2's. The versa i have now would not synch with a different galaxy s5 nor will it synch with mine.

I believe the galaxy S5 was put on the list of supported devices without going through complete testing. If your compatibility team actually used a glaxy S5 and paired successfully I would like to know the complete setting on that phone. I have done a factory reset on mine to no avail.

 
I have asked the "community" several times if anyone has a versa working with a galaxy S5 and have received no positive replies. Can you put me in touch with any with a galaxy S5 who has paired with a versa?

My versa would not pair. It took more than 6 hrs and still doesn't pair. What should I do? Is there customer support phone no I can call?
