Heart Rate Range on Watch Differs from Range shown on App

I have noticed a few times that the heart rate range (low to high) on my Fitbit watch under the Today info is different than the heart rate range shown in the Fitbit app for Today on my phone.  For example, watch showed heart rate range of 51 - 104 but app showed heart rate range of 53 - 94.  Why are these different?  Which one is correct?

@mmudd48   When you look at your daily heart rate graph in the mobile app, the heart rate is averaged over five minutes.  This information is described in the device specs.  Fitbit doesn't have specific information about the range you see when you see on the Today app on the device.  It doesn't say whether it is average over a shorter time period or if it is the absolute highest and lowest.  Premium users get a sleeping heart rate graph which is averaged over one minute.  Looking at last night's graph, my device Today slowest heart rate is the same as the slowest heart rate on the graph -- 44.  I suspect the Today app value is over one minute.  It's information Fitbit currently calculates.  Absolute numbers would require more work on Fitbit's part.

Does this make sense?
