I've searched around a bunch and found no consistent fix for this. My resting heart rate is way off on my versa. I have reset it, toggled the measurement on and off, changed the position of where and how I'm wearing it - nothing. Currently I am sitting down with a counted HR of 75, and my Fitbit insists that I am in fatburn mode at a HR of 118bpm. This issue makes this device nothing more than a step tracker essentially, as it only gets half my notifications and the screen doesn't turn on in response to my wrist turn. I am thinking this was a waste of money unfortunately. Is there any solution out there that I haven't tried ?

Hi, turn your HR off in the settings of your Versa. After that, try this and enable your HR again and see if the problem is solved. Regarding the issue of your screen, long press (2-3 secs) your left button to get the activitity screen and see whether your screen activation is set to automatic or manual. In the last case, set it to automatic.

@lasprwa Welcome to our Fitbit Community! I'm happy to assist you with your Fitbit Versa since it's not tracking your hear rate accurately.
Since you already restarted your Versa and turned the heart rate feature on and off, I'd like you to try one more workaround that has been helpful.
Please try a factory reset. To do so on your device, open the Settings app > About > Factory Reset or Clear User Data. Once you've done this, make sure that your Versa is not being worn too tight and see if the issue gets fixed.
Keep me posted on the outcome!

Yes, a factory reset will clear all data currently on your device. So, be sure to synchronize it to the app before resetting.
