Heartrate Accuracy is Unacceptable, Except Resting

Since the heartrate clearly doesn't work during exercise, why doesn't fitbit provide a way to enter an offset number that has been measured on another *accurate* device, like an SPO2/heartrate device. I consistently show a 20-40 BPM difference when comparing readings.

The solution would be to do what the competitors do - allow connecting external sensors but I wouldn't bet it's going ever to happen. For me, Fitbit HR was always way too low so I got the chest strap and was recording high intensity trainings in parallel with the watch. Later, I just changed the watch making a feature of using external sensors essential.
