My hourly activity is no logging on the app. This issue started yesterday. On the app it showed 6 out of 10 hours and on my device it showed 10 out of 10. This morning it’s akready not accurate

Hi, restart your Versa several times in a row by pressing and holding the left and right lower buttons together untill you see the Fitbit logo and release the buttons. Good luck!!

I'm having the same issue with my Versa. The Versa watch shows 10 of 10 hours but the Fitbit phone app on my Samsung Galaxy 7 shows 6 of 10 hours active. I've hit the synced update button multiple times on my cell phone and it still won't display what the Versa watch has recorded. This is happening more and more and wanted to know how to either fix it or is there a software update coming to fix the problem.

Same issue (maybe/kinda):  the hourly dots show on my watch (6 of 6 so far today) but the iPhone app shows I missed hour 4, then two more dots.  So this might be a different twist in that it has not stopped recording and sync'ing, but misses a dot, somewhat randomly, once or twice a month.  I have reloaded the phone app, and restarted (hold left & bottom-right ~10 secs) the watch (3x).

I called customer service and they said it's an ongoing problem that
they're aware of. The representative said they're working on a software
update to fix the problem.

If it helps, I can provide details as I try to find a pattern.

First, I use two devices.  I still carry my 'old reliable' Zip in my pocket, with the new Versa on my wrist.  So when I sync to the phone app, it goes looking for both.  Sometimes I need to tap the Zip to wake it up.  Today, it seemed to be having trouble getting data from the Versa.

Regardless, at the time the phone app was trying to sync, the Versa did not respond as usual to my hitting the left button.  Then, when synced, and the Versa was responding, was when I first saw that the Versa was giving the dot, but the app was not.

That's when I started to refresh, resync, reboot, reload, etc.

Whether I interfered with the Sync, or if all this is unrelated, is for developers to decide.  Thanks

More details: When I had time to dig deeper, while my Versa watch congratulated me on 14 of 14 dots but the phone app said 'No' on the 10:00 hour, I dug into the details.  Browsing the web site, it gives how many steps, in a dozen 5-minute counters, for each hour.  Adding them up (65 steps this 5 minutes, zero steps that 5 min.) they only add up to 234 steps.  So, that's why the app is not giving me credit -- fine.  But then why did the Versa say 'Yes' you got your steps this hour?

Perhaps this has something to do with the Zip.  My experience has been, the two (Zip and Versa) do not and should not add up (double counting).  However, the do seem to take the greater of the two.  So, if I don't have the Zip in my pocket while I'm getting dressed, obviously the Versa will get more.  And some activities, like pushing a grocery cart, the Zip will register more when the the Versa is not 'swinging'..

That is largely speculation.  I'll leave it to the Developers.  But, I do know, if at 10:50 this morning I knew I needed 16 more steps, I would have walked to the printer and back.  No problem.  And if the Versa says I got it, then the App should give me credit.

(First world problems.)  I am thankful for what does work well.  🙂
