Thanks for your participation in the Community @SunsetRunner and @WendyB thanks for stopping by.

The only way to log this activity is by following the instructions provided by our friend. There isn't a horse riding shortcut and unfortunately, we do not currently have plans to release this feature. Feel free to visit our feature suggestions board and share your ideas.

If you are talking about using the exercise mode on your device then use Workout mode and rename it after it syncs

Thank you for your reply.

Horse riding although it seems a relatively niche country, the community is growing. It is one of my main activities and for endurance racing a watch is a essential to stay with in the rules when racing. I tried to use the cycling tracker to get km/h, gps tracking and avg speed/h. It tracked my route and told me I had done 18km and burned 3500 calories when I had in fact I had done 42km. Riders will do anything up to 120km a day when racing.

It would not have to be different types of horse related sports ... a horse will walk on average between 4-6km/h, trot 10-15km/h and canter and gallop 15- 60km/h. I am guessing technicality would effect the riders heart rate.

Unfortunately, although I have enjoyed the few days I have used the Versa if I can't track my km/h,average speed and distance I will have to sell it and find some thing else. And will not be able to recommend it to any of my colleges in any horse related activities.

@SunsetRunner  No it will not know it for future. You will need to use the start/stop function every time and when it syncs you will have to rename it on the dashboard
