@RoyalDQ , A warm welcome to the Community! Thank you for your message. 

 

Just to avoid confusions. What do you need to be updated the Fitbit app or the Firmware of your Versa 2?

 

If you want to update the app version, just go to the App Store/ Google Play store and verify if there is an app update available. 

If you need for the Firmware to be updated, you'll see a banner in the app showing when this is ready for you. 

Then just follow the instructions here
