I did a workout today (exercise mode) which says I burnt 471 calories. My totally step count was 11000 and the workout used 3786 of those steps. Are those steps used to calculate my total calories burnt? I'm worried that it's doubling up. Meaning I burnt 11000 steps worth of calories as well as the workout. Or does it adjust by removing those steps from the calorie count so it counts the calories from the 7214 steps.
Thanks

It's great to have you here @kd1699.
If you want to know how your watch registers your calories burned, I recommend taking a look at the help article How does Fitbit estimate how many calories I've burned?.
See you later. ![]()
