How does the versa detect length and laps in pool?

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I’m new to swimming so I don’t tumble at the end of the pool yet. The measurements I get are inconsistent. Sometimes I swim 50 m and the watch says 25 m. Then I swim another 50 and it says 75. I’d like to feel like I can trust my stats so I can start measuring improvements.

Hello @Kcjean and welcome to the community.  I'm sorry I can't give you a firm answer as to why you get wacky numbers.  But I can steer you to a Help article that might help you with your tracking issue.

First, make sure you have your pool length correct.  On the Versa itself, go to Swim in your exercise list > tap on the Gear > set the correct pool length.

Here is the link to the Help article.  You might get some insight.  I hope it helps.

Hello. I had this problem with my Versa and was unsure how to change it.  Thanks for your advice. Now when I go swimming, it will reflect the correct distance.
