How to configure Fitbit Pay on iOS when asked for Touch ID?

Hi. I have a Versa with the NFC Chip. When I select the wallet icon on the Versa Account from my iPhone 7, it responds with 'Touch ID for Fitbit. Fitbit requires Touch ID or passcode authentication to secure your digital wallet.' with a cancel button at the bottom of the dialog box.

I have Touch ID set to on to open/unlock the iphone, I even put a passcode/Device Lock on the Fitbit.

Where do I go from here to setup the "Fitbit Touch ID"?

Greg

Hello @HobsonG, have a warm welcome to the Fitbit Community, it's great to have you on board. Smiley Happy

Thanks for bringing this situation to my attention, I understand your concern about the relation between Fitbit Pay and Touch ID. At this moment, when you first start setting up Fitbit Pay you will receive this pop-up:

TouchID.png

To proceed, please touch the home button on your iPhone so the Fitbit app can continue the process after recognizing your fingerprint. If you have set up a "device lock" it's possible you will be asked to type in the code as well.

I hope this resolves your inquiry, if there's anything else I can do for you, please feel free to reply.

Hello. I can’t access my wallet as my Touch ID on my iPhone 6 is faulty so it doesn’t recognise my fingerprint anymore. How do I bypass this and just use a passcode?

Edit: nevermind! It seems to have sorted itself out!
