After editing exercise type via Android app once, I can no longer switch exercise type for the same workout because the edit button is gone. Cannot find editing function on webpage either. Is it possible to edit workout type only once? Or is there a workaround?

@KaJeniusWelcome to the forums!
Once a workout mode has been changed it can not be edited again via the Web or the app.
Edited to add that even if you started the device with walk and you really went for a Run it cant be edited either
Please go vote for it here. Even though it says currently not planned the more votes the better it will be implemented

Hi, not entirely sure this will be the solution but I think there is a workaround to it. Go to your PC and type https://www.fitbit.com/activities. Because you're logged in, your will see the activities. Scroll down to Activity History and choose the day. The first item that's shown is activity, f.i. walk. Next to it is the edit pencil, press that and you're able to change the name of the activity. Hope this helps. When it does, you probably have to do it everytime you want to change the exercise type.

I'm still looking for a solution... The only thing we can edit is the name?
This product has been out long enough that the features should really be more mature. Ugh.
I want to add to this thread- there IS a way to edit exercises. If you use the iOS version of the FitBit app, you can edit exercises. I have an extra iPhone I can use, so this doesn't help people if they don't have an iPhone/iOS device... But it is a workaround.

You can only do it once if you mess up you can’t go back to correct it.
